Before requesting a swap, check the other author’s story, the date, and the shoutout code. Only send the request if you are happy to post it and you can honour your side of the swap.
Do not create a slot unless you expect to be able to post a shoutout on that date.
Make sure you are comfortable shouting out the other author’s work before requesting a swap.
Accept, decline, or message the other author if you need more information.
Copy the shoutout code from your confirmed swap and post it on the agreed date.
If you cannot complete a swap, message the other author as soon as possible.
Complaints are for missed swaps, or poor behaviour. Do not complain just because someone declined a request.
